Just a note for everyone who has either done the assignment already, or those of you who have not yet done the assignment. For the ß and all the umlaut characters, you have two options. First, you can type the assignment out in Word and use the Word shortcuts for the umlauts and ß.
ß - Ctrl+Shift+& then click s
ä, ö, ü - Ctrl+Shift+: then click the letter to which you want to add the umlaut
From there, copy and paste the text into the text box for the blog.
Temporarily, the other option is to type two "s" for the ß. For the umlauts, type the following characters:
ä - ae
ö - oe
ü - ue
